This hotel had a remote position out on the peninsula. Besides, it was close enough to the wild seal colony and the south island.

Loved the well-appointed and tastefully decorated room. A bathtub in the private bathroom was a plus. The location was very scenic, very close to the center as well as the beach at the Point where the seals entertain everybody, and had astonishing views. The staff was very, very nice and always greeted us;)))

Located on the coast up north of the town center, The Point B&B offers a tranquil escape right on the beach. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views and take leisurely walks along the shoreline. Just a short distance away, there are several nice eateries where you can indulge in delicious seafood. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with ensuite bathrooms and good showers. The hosts, Gwenda and Peter, are friendly and make you feel welcome. The breakfast, although basic, includes a tasty fresh egg on toast. The property also has a dog and a cat, adding to the homely atmosphere.
Some guests felt that the rooms appeared tired and in need of updating.

Had a great New Year stay at a B&B. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The room had a lovely view of the nearby seal colony and the ocean, making it a perfect location to explore the area.
We did find the room to be a bit cramped and outdated. The bathroom was quite small and could use some renovations.

The breakfast had a great selection, with homemade jam and friendly hosts who shared insider tips on local activities. The location was ideal for nature lovers, with easy access to a seal colony and stunning sunrise views.
During our stay, there was a family function that made it uncomfortable to use the shared areas, like the kitchen and lounge. The cleanliness could have been better, with a lack of attention to detail and self-service required throughout our stay.
